The church Agbara Olorun Wasibe was started by Lady Evangelist E. Oyedokun. Many years back, I got a message from God that I (by name Mrs. E. Oyedokun), should put aside my earthly work which I was known with and work for Him (God) as a shepherd to His sheep. The inspiration came upon me to make a move into bringing the message to manifestation.

This led to my first visit to the village of Alatishe on Monday, 15th October 2001, to survey and create the awareness of founding a church to the inhabitants of the village, together with me was Pastor Mofiu. Though, the Baale of Alatishe was not met but the message was delivered to his Otun Baale. Since it was God at work and not man, we were heartily received.

On Wednesday 9th of January 2002. The church was founded with first service held in a parlor apartment rented by then from Mr. Hassan Morufu Olajide (The Otun Baale). Present at the first founding service were our Lord Jesus Christ (who was the Divine Founder), followed by the minister of God, Lady Evangelist Oyedokun (Host), Lady Evangelist Akinola, Lady Evangelist Adegun and Pastor Mofiu. Others were Mrs. Hassan Morufu, Miss Hassan Morufat, Miss Hassan Kafayat, Mrs. Hassan Mutiat.

Since our Lord Jesus Christ to whom all glory, honour and adoration are ascribed, was the founder of His church. the work of the church was noted for progress both numerically and spiritually.

We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ (Founder) who is the owner and strong bone behind the progress of the church, that he will reward all vessels he has been using in one form or the other for the progress of his church and in his church and in his infinite mercy will grant us all it required to make it up to his eternal paradise in Jesus name.(Amen).
